Our insulating sleeves are usually used in extreme environments providing continuity of the production and safety in harsh conditions
The materials choice is an important process in our production. Sometimes we use unconventional fibers to reach the goal and the final result usually exceed customer expectations.
A combination of different fibers is often needed for producing high quality textile materials. We have all the equipment needed for preparing complex threads.
The weaving process is carried out on different types of equipment, depending on the sleeve’s type, diameter and wall thickness. Different types of weaving are used for each separate layer when manufacturing some types of multi-layer sleeves.
All our products are periodically tested in laboratory furnaces in different temperature modes. Having our own laboratory equipment greatly facilitates the innovative research of our employees.
The IZPOLET sleeves are made from high temperature threads of diameter up to 150 mm and wall thickness from 1 to 20 mm.
The sleeves have a flexible structure, high strength and are able to withstand temperature up to +1200 C. The main purpose of the sleeves is protection of cables, hoses and high temperature sleeves from exposure to aggressive external factors.
The inner diameter and wall thickness should be specified when placing an order.
The diagram shows maximum application temperature of the IZOPLET braiding sleeves
The IZOPLET sleeves with heat-resistant silicon coating consist of high temperature foundation and heat-resistant silicon coating.
Coating features:
- sleeves protection from external environmental effects, soaking
- resistance to molten metal splashes
- protection from punctures, cuts and abrasion
- great chemical resistance
- dielectric features
The silicon coating is able to perform under a constant temperature conditions up to +300 C.
The coating is able to withstand temperatures up to +1200 C under short-term temperature jump conditions, depending on the process duration. For example, sleeves with coatings performed well during a contact with molten metal splashes.
Sleeves, covered with metal foil are able to protect against heat caused by exposure to infrared radiation. In case of temperature increase to values critical for the reflective foil, the sleeve foundation will continue to perform protective layer function.
When using tape as an insulating material, the lack of flexibility of the tape should be taken into account. The tape may often come apart when the construction is bended, which exposes the insulating surface.
The IZOPLET braided sleeves have got great flexibility and elasticity. The sleeves do not disband even when strongly bended and continue protecting the insulating surface.
The rectangular sleeves are used for insulating cables in places where boxes installation is envisaged, if there’s a need for an additional protection.
1. Select sleeve yourself by exploring the catalog or the parameters table.
2. Let us help you in the selection of sleeve. Simply tell us the initial parameters (temperature, pressure and composition of the environment, type of the equipment).
Order form: sleeve model + inner diameter (mm) + amount (m)
